Will the Sealant move on a Hot day if in Conservatory Roof Glass?

Conservatory Roof Glass is typically angled and therefore at a Tangent to the sun, i.e. directly facing the sun.
This significantly reduces reflection, allowing the Sun to Heat up the Glass Sealed Unit at a greater rate than Sealed Units in Windows and Doors etc.

The Heat attempts to disperse out of the cavity through all parts of the sealed unit, including the Spacer Bar and Sealant.

As all regular Hot Melts are 'Thermo-plastics', this increased heat makes the sealant malleable and on very hot days, the potential to move.
This movement has lead Regular Hot Melt manufacturers to withdraw guarantees from their products for ‘Angled applications’.

Delchem D-2000 is a Reactive Hot Melt, which means the product Cures. Therefore, the Sealant is NOT susceptible to Heat Change.

Delchem are so confident with their product, a 20 Year Guarantee is offered with Air Filled Cavity Units!!
