Why is there a 20 year Guarantee ?

The 20 Year Guarantee is for Air Filled Units.
delchem D-2000 has the lowest Gas permeance rate (GPR) of any Sealant (click ‘delchem website’). However, despite passing BSEN1279 Part 3, a 10 Year Guarantee is offered for Gas Filled Units due to a combination of Gas Leakage and varying manufacturing levels.

The single Seal D-2000 can be used with any type of spacer bar, offering great versatility to any production line and various certification including BSEN1279 Part 3 and ‘Energy Ratings’ for UK Building regulations and the forthcoming BSEN14351 External Windows and Doors.
